FIAT - 500 Abarth Esseesse IN STOCK NOW!
The new 500 Abarth Esseesse reintroduces FIAT's performance brand to Australia - complete with the scorpion badge that's synonymous with Italian motor racing. It's based on the retro 500 city car that was launched in 2007 as a 21st-century version of the 1950s 'Bambino'.
The three-door 500 is renowned for its cute-as-a-button design but the Abarth version aims for a tougher look. It sits 30mm lower, rides on bigger, 17-inch alloy wheels that fill the wheel-arches, wears a large rear roof spoiler, and features side stripes and a racy, diffuser-style lower rear bumper. A more aggressive-looking front end has also been stretched to accommodate the 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine's bigger turbocharger and twin intercoolers.
Combined with a remapping of the engine's computer software, the mechanical changes boost the engine's outputs from the regular petrol turbo 500.
